One of our investee companies is looking for a CEO. The ideal candidate will bring:
Deep experience and knowledge in running and growing a software/services business, preferably in a high growth technology company
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the Board to build a connected startup team with specific and diverse skill-sets including product development, digital marketing, and business development experts who are ready to find users and partners for a new type of messaging app.
Own, plan, and execute with the team both the short- and long-term strategy of the startup including everything from products to GTM
Aggressively develop and execute a plan to raise external capital to grow the company as a venture-backable business
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will bring:
Demonstrated success in sales and marketing, particularly in new category and product creation
Highly strategic and analytical with an understanding of how to work backwards with the end goal in mind
A strong understanding of the complex
You must be PASSIONATE about the digital economy
Comfort working with ambiguity – is hypothesis driven, and mentally flexible
Demonstrated leadership and management skills for scaling a high-growth company
Real and authentic interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop a company culture that promotes collaboration, transparency, trust, and empowerment
Detail-oriented, ability to roll up your sleeves
Demonstrated ability to leverage both internal and external resources
Start-up experience required
Software/services experience is preferred
Proven ability to raise capital from private equity or venture capital is a plus.
C-level experience is a plus, but not required
